Soma runtime error - potu1304 - 09-29-2015

Hello!

I did not exactly find a solution in the troubleshooting guide.
The last few days soma worked fine. I played it yesterday. But today when I get into the game and click continue it crashes while loading on the loading screen.
This is what it says:

---------------------------
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
---------------------------
Runtime Error!

Program: ...\GalaxyClient\Games\SOMA\Soma.exe

R6025

- pure virtual function call

---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Has somebody the same error or a fix for this? I already downloaded the redustibutables and installed them again, but it didn't worked. I also verifyed the game.
Greetings

RE: Soma runtime error - Googolplex - 09-29-2015

Install vcredist 2005 SP1, 2008, 2010, 2012 U4, 2013, 2015 (32- and 64-bit)
If that not helps, try starting SOMA as an Administrator and in compatibility mode. Also wait for patch 1.02. GOG has a bad update service.

If you are loading a save game, load a few saves back using the Load Game part of the menu, rather than clicking on Continue. Continue until you get somewhat significantly further than where your game stopped working correctly.

I installed all of them, tried compatibility mode and ran it as administrator. Nothing worked. I guess I have to wait for the patch...

Yeah it worked when I loaded a save game from theta entrance. But if I progress to the labs it crashes when I land in the shaft which leads to the labs.

Look what R6025 error code means.

It says it is a programming error. Other sites say that I have to reinstall the redistibutables. Do oyu think a re install of soma would work?

I think not, wait for the update. GOG still has no patch listed and full setup has same version (2.0.0.1).

Is this issue on GOG? If so a patch that should fix it will be coming later today.

Yes, it's on GoG. And good news Smile

How is GOG version different than Steam? Isn't it the same just DRM-free?
