Hi
is a little annoying that you only see mouse pointer when you have a weapon or when you are near a object that you can see or get, will be more nice to have a mouse pointer all the time on the screen

There should be an option to enable the crosshair (as you call it, the pointer) in some menu. It should put a white dot in the center of the screen. It's not a hand icon, but it should work.

Yeah, I also think there's an option for it in the menu.

To get the crosshair in Overture, I believe you must patch the game as well.
