Amnesia crash on launch - hagerf - 09-17-2010
Hi,
I have a really annoying problem. As soon as I start the game, after the config screen, the screen goes black and my computer freezes. I get no response from the keyboard and have to force a shutdown of the laptop.
I have tried to reinstall and to change settings to no avail. All the drivers are the latest.
My specs are:
win 7 pro x64, 4g ram, Nvidia Quadro FX 2700M, core2duo 2.53 GHz
My hpl is attached.

Have you tried to run the game as administrator? or to install the game into a different location?
the log is really strange as it really ends so fast that there is no hint as to what could be wrong.

After some testing I found what was wrong: my comodo firewall was blocking the program so just turning it off stopped the crashes.
