ATDD: Savegames Gallery - Kein - 09-29-2010 Noticed that many ppl getting stuck and asking for savegames, so, here is a collection of my savegames that contains a lot of savefiles without any order. Good thing is that they automatically named by the game, so, you will not get lost. http://www.sendspace.com/file/3z4s30 Spoiler below!
Place them there: Windows: X:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\Amnesia\Main\%gameprofile_name%\ Linux: ~/.frictionalgames/Amnesia/Main/%gameprofile_name% Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Frictional games/Amnesia/something/ where: X = system drive (where is your OS installed) %USERNAME% - your Window's username %gameprofile_name% - you profile name in the game. Note: those savefiles can be... surprisingly in some way, because I included ALL my savegames, even the "tricky" ones. RE: ATDD: Savegames Gallery - Kim - 09-29-2010 Nice... but why a third-party host? (09-29-2010, 11:43 AM)Kein Wrote: I'm not quite sure if nix<->win versions are backward compatible, barely doubt they are. Linux saves are compatible with the backwards OS Windows. Quote:Anyway, nix-users perfectly know their system and requires no advices That would probably be true if we were still back in pre-2000. Quote:(I don't have linux version but I bet it's somewhere in ~/.amnesia)Close, it's ~/.frictionalgames/Amnesia/Main/%gameprofile_name% RE: ATDD: Savegames Gallery - Kein - 09-29-2010 Quote:Linux saves are compatible with the backwards OS Windows.Yeah, I just opened one of them today and there was XML-like plain text structure which is awesum. Quote:Close, it's ~/.frictionalgames/Amnesia/Main/%gameprofile_name% Ty, updated the 1st post Quote:Nice... but why a third-party host?Well, ya'now... I can't upload it on frictional's servers coz of obvious reasons ;P Oh, and any forum's attachments requires registration (in order to download), so... No so much of choice. RE: ATDD: Savegames Gallery - Zanderat - 09-30-2010 Bump for a great help. RE: ATDD: Savegames Gallery - martinstatic - 10-09-2010 Nice one. Don't need this myself, but it's handy RE: ATDD: Savegames Gallery - Kim - 10-09-2010 (09-29-2010, 08:10 PM)Kein Wrote: Yeah, I just opened one of them today and there was XML-like plain text structure which is awesum. Indeed it is. Quote:Oh, and any forum's attachments requires registration (in order to download), so... No so much of choice. Oh damn, that thought didn't occur to me. -_- RE: ATDD: Savegames Gallery - Harlequin1001 - 10-11-2010 Can anyone think of a reason why I can't use the saves, I download them and put the file "amnesia_saves.7z" in "C:\Users\Adam\Documents\Amnesia\Main\Adam" but I cannot access the saves in-game. What am I doing wrong?! RE: ATDD: Savegames Gallery - Kein - 10-11-2010 Because you need to unpack the 7z file with 7-zip archiver. RE: ATDD: Savegames Gallery - Harlequin1001 - 10-11-2010 Thanks for the help |
