Try lowering the resolution

RE: Open Source Drivers Support - LK4D4 - 12-22-2010

Same troubles on lower resolution Sad

RE: Open Source Drivers Support - hicham - 12-23-2010

did you try setting texture resolution to low, disable shadows ... ie, play with the lowest possible settings/resolution.

RE: Open Source Drivers Support - LK4D4 - 12-23-2010

Yes, I tried to play with lowest settings. I don`t know what I can do with it, except waiting for new commits from nouveau developers :E

For radeon users, please report feedback on :

There is an entry over there for Amnesia.

Water rendering issue is fixed in latest mesa master, fix is in Fedora 15

RE: Open Source Drivers Support - Urkle - 03-31-2011

It's nice seeing the Open source drivers progress at a descent rate for a change. And glad that Amnesia has been helping getting it there.

RE: Open Source Drivers Support - Kariddi - 06-11-2011

Hi, I want to update on the open source driver situation (at least for r600 cards)

I have a 5850 card and I'm using the Mesa r600g drivers to play the Amnesia demo and it works very well with all settings to max and full hd resolution.

I'm looking forward to buying the game if the demo finishes without problems Smile

(of course I'm using the latest git)

Now i see this. My brother has Windows XP, and in every custom story + Main story his screen turns upside down. :S

RE: Open Source Drivers Support - Urkle - 06-11-2011

If he's having "upside down" screen issues on Windows, then it is a Windows driver issue and has nothing to do with this thread on Linux drivers.
