Regional XBox availability? - Vespertine - 12-20-2017
Hi there,
Recently SOMA launched on Xbox One, which I was very excited about. However, for whatever reason, it does not seem to be available in the xbox store in New Zealand. It does not show up in searches, and when changing the region on the website, it only says:
"This game does not work on your device.
You can’t get this product. This page is for information only."
Why is this? The game is available for PC in New Zealand, why not on Xbox one? Will it be allowed soon?

Hi!
I asked about this for you just before we went on break for Christmas - I don't handle licensing and stuff myself, but as I understand it AU/NZ regions don't yet have a rating on this platform. We're looking in to this in the new year.
I think it's fairly well known that this region is particularly strict with ratings - as I seem to recall a few games in the past (Manhunt!) not being publically available. Please hang on to your seat and watch this space!
