About HPL1 exe's - brunopark09 - 11-22-2010

Hello everybody! i'm new in the forum, and i'm very interested in this engine.

This week i downloaded the engine from github, but when i opened the .rar and the hpl engine folder i was surprised beacuse there wasn't any exe! so i downloaded Visual C# to compile the codes of the map editor and the other tools, but i get an error about mising .cfg files.

Anybody have an idea of were can i get that files?

pd: sorry for my bad english Tongue

Well, I'm not reaaly a coder, so I cannot reaaly help you. But I have a question, Why do you want to download it and do stuff with it? Are you planning to make a game or something?

Afaik the editor tool that you are trying to compile is not the HPL1 level editor, for that they used a 3d tool, i think it was Maya. That editor source is from a old tile based editor used on their past 2d game, don't remember the name now.
