Ok, so now im making a bit of an outdoor area, but the issue ive run into is the lack of a moon. I can, if i need to, pass this off as "You cant see it, its cloudy, raining, etc", but id like to have SOMETHING akin to the moon.
Any ideas?

Make a white circle plane with some clever billboards far enough from the player it isn't too obvious?

Make a square and rotate it 1 ° and duplicate it all the way to 360 °!
Or just cheat and use giant blending billboards

Billboards is the last place i would have checked to find a bright white light
