Are you guys serious!?

The developer making moding code for us! Where do you guys ever saw a game developer make requests code from the modding community? Has Valve done that?

Developers release the tools or SDK has is, they have no obligation to make code for us or even help us in any way or form, if they do, is because they want and can spare some of their working time.

If you don't like it them don't mod the game, or do what a true moder does try to overcome the difficulties by your on.

Your english is really annoying me, sorry :S

He's German - See, his English is actually perfect, but the way he forms sentences with it is the same as German; As in, if you translated what he said into German, itd be perfect phrasing. But in English, it just sounds strange

Yeah, I'm Dutch, so it's not an excuse to say "he's German" if I would say it like Dutch phrases it wouldn't make sense.

I should then very weird talking...
See?

Lol Big Grin i'm dutch too

Any progress on flashlight???

RE: Penumbra flashlight in Amnesia? - MrBigzy - 04-29-2011

What problems are you guys having with this? Just need hand animations?

RE: Penumbra flashlight in Amnesia? - Tanshaydar - 04-29-2011

Hand animations are good actually, but buggy. And the way hand holds the flashlight is like Sherlock Holmes does :/

I'm on total conversion and I'll use in spite of its bugs.

Is there a way to change the sound the flashlight plays when activating and deactivating without needing to replace the ui_lantern_on/off.ogg?

Gotta love reviving a thread that's over a year old. =P

Not really, only thing I can assume is silencing those sounds and running a script that plays a sound on SetLanternLitCallback, and runs a timer that, when the lantern is not used any longer (when the timer basically runs out), it will play the off sound. But that's more work and more performance than just changing the ui sounds.
