I can't imagine playing amnesia on a console. No, really not.

I cannot come up with good arguments, whether for or against, but one thing I consider to be one of the key elements in Amnesia is to use those specific realistic motions with the mouse to interact with doors and similar mechanics, elements which I think would be less immersive and hard to implement on miceless consoles. =)

I REALLY really don't see why not. Only hipsters would be against such an idea, in all honesty. Amnesia would be easily played on the console, though I fear immersion would be more difficult without headphones on.

Oh my f*cking God! Yes Amnesia could be played on consoles with the same level of immersion as on PC, it all depends on what YOU prefer. BUT Amnesia can't be played on consoles because they don't support it, not now not ever. After all these years why is this still a debate???

I'd rather have this as a PC exclusive.

If you are gonna play it on PC than you shouldn't care whether it goes to console or not. Saying, "We want exclusives" is like the most selfish thing you could say. Porting the game over to consoles doesn't somehow diminish the game on PC, that doesn't make any sense. If it was a RTS, or RPG then you could argue that putting it on console would "dumb it down" but its a first person game, a gamepad easily has enough buttons for all the necessary interactions.

No it's not. Just take a look at the PC ports of many games that put their focus on console gaming - it's almost always a huge drawback.

I can't really imagine the interaction with objects like doors or drawers could be really good or "immersive" with a gamepad - it would be a completely different feeling, and probably they would need completely other control mechanics for that.

Also, I don't think the target group for an Amnesia console game would be big enough to justify the effort behind making a really good console port.

AHHH the countless number of threads about this >.< as I like to think,
[Image: 2826876-Michael-scott-no-god-no.gif]

Immersion = No, not without a good headset compared to a PC where you can put in pretty much any audio device (other than a speaker) and get immersed
Controls= (Refer to GIF) They ruin the immersion, the game was designed for the PC which has a mouse and that is what is should stay as is.
Graphics= What ever traggey said

Conclusion
NO THE GAME SHOULD ON A CONSOLE!

One good game more to avoid consoles become gaming imperium.

Nothing in that sentence made any sense what so ever.
