Status Update: Linux and Mac ports - Urkle - 03-10-2007

I have just a few more test to go on the linux build, and assuming I find no other major issues the linux demo should be available sometime this week.

And the Mac PPC build should soon follow, I only have one major bug to track down and that too shall be released this week in demo form.

For Mac Intel users, currently I do not have an Intel Mac to develop and test on, so as of right now there is no Intel build. I'm hoping to get my hands on one shortly and it should be a simple rebuild and test. But then again I shouldn't assume anything :-D

I can't wait. If it runs well enough I'm definitely buying it. Otherwise I'll have to wait to get a new computer.

It should. the machine I'm testing it on is a lowly Mac Mini 1.5GHz G4 w/ a radeon 7000 series w/ 64MB.
yeah it doesn't look all that pretty (no fragment shaders) but it runs.

I am currently working on that final bug on the Mac and once fixed will be sending the build along to Jens to have him test it on his Mac (a mightier one than mine).

The linux demo is almost ready to be sent out as well.. I will be posting it up to the forums sometime this week for testing.

Hi!
Are the full version linux binaries going to be available 30.3. or do we have to wait much longer?
