Elevator Machinery needs more work - piquant00 - 01-11-2011

Hi

Running Amnesia 1.0.1 on Ubuntu 10.10 64-bit w/ kernel 2.6.36-bfs, Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT. In the Machinery Room, I've put the three rods in place, started the steam engine (read message "flow is even and stable"), put coal in the burner and started it, put the three gears in place on the machine, and when I pull the lever to start the elevator I get the message it needs more work to run.

What am I missing? Thanks for any answers.

I'm guessing the three rods are not correct, check and see if you can interact with them, if you can they are not correct.

No, I can't do anything more with the rods (same for the steam engine levers). But thanks for your reply.

And certain that the fire is burning? If so it sounds as if it is broke and I can only suggest to replay the level from start by loading a saved game from the main menu.

Ok, I went back to double-check about the rods, and I was wrong. They're in the right spots and the machine's running. Blush

Thanks again for your help.
