I just tried the demo. Really original storytelling + cool physics, looks good. But it seems like you end the demo before an actual fight because the mechanics are probably broken. I mean it seems like a cop-out and it would prevent me from buying the game from fear of poorly executed fight sequences.

In addition, you could add some length by fleshing out different areas more, like the snow area. If you go through the trouble of making a snowy place, might as well make it longer.

But it looks like a really interesting game. Nice atmosphere. I freaked when the dog growled; I ran like a little girl back to my heavy rock to drop on his head.

First off hello and welcome to the forums I hope you enjoy your stay

ok If you didn't know the game is not focused on combat hence you will be expecting to be poorly equiped to fight them off so using objects around you you can block their path, kill or maim them will be better or you can go thief style and sneak past.

oh and the demo is the game first bit so i guess they put it down further in the game

Don't know about how original story telling it is but other then that well yea ם:
oh and the fight in this game will be more of throwing stuff at them and thinking how to kill them, not bashing with the hammer until they die, so don't count on that to work.

I do think that not including at least one fight to get a feel for it was a mistake. Even if the focus of the game isn't on fighting it will still have a lot of it. It will be based more around tricking enemies then escaping it seems, but that is still an important element of the game that should have been included in the demo.
