Overture Item - Padlock - PenumbraOT - 03-07-2011 Hello, From the Beginning-to-the-End of the game we had that 'Padlock' in our Inventory, It used to secure our belonging on the fishing boat in the berth's locker but we never had the chance to use it, Or am i missing something? greetz RE: Overture Item - Padlock - Yuhaney - 03-07-2011 There's no purpose for the padlock. At least not that I'm aware of... RE: Overture Item - Padlock - PenumbraOT - 03-07-2011 Me niether, I think we just found a -Hole- greetz RE: Overture Item - Padlock - Lorkas - 03-07-2011 Some may think it doesn't have a reason, but in fact it's the most important item in the game. This peculiar item shows that Philip's mind and destiny is similar to a Padlock. It protects many thoughts, many memories. But once you unlock the padlock, you can never lock it again. In Philip's case, once you enter the mine you cannot truly leave it. That, I believe. RE: Overture Item - Padlock - PenumbraOT - 03-07-2011 That's a nice theory, We also had the padlock in our invetory at the last scene (Knocked out scene) Which makes your theory much stronger. RE: Overture Item - Padlock - fesoj1337 - 03-24-2011 i think its for locking in enemies in rooms, and so, i read somewhere, i actually think it was in game, im not sure, anyway it sais that you can actually LOCK IN enemies in rooms, and stuffs like that RE: Overture Item - Padlock - Lorkas - 03-26-2011 (03-07-2011, 08:09 PM)PenumbraOT Wrote: That's a nice theory, Thanks, I always imagined there was more to penumbra than meets the eye. RE: Overture Item - Padlock - Xanatos - 03-27-2011 I thought it was used to lock the door in the mine where the first dog was to prevent it doing this: I haven't tried it though. RE: Overture Item - Padlock - thepaleking - 03-28-2011 It's used to lock Philip's pocket up to keep the pickaxe, broom, hammer, dynamite, flashlight, painkillers, explosive chemicals, lighter, and everything else he keeps in it, from overflowing.
