A Review Of Penumbra Overture - skraeling - 04-08-2011

I wrote a 3 page review of Overture on my blog. Obviously the game has been out for quite some time and doesn't need to be reviewed but I think it's clear what I'm doing in the article.

I think fans of Penumbra will enjoy it.

Enjoy:
Review of a Penumbra that doesn't exist.

I found it very interesting how you looked at it, especially playing from that perspective - unique, albeit broken.

I also liked your metaphor at the beginning: "but I didn’t worry about this because that would be like worrying about the physical quality of ink and paper meeting the requirements of William Faulkner’s prose." But now you know, it doesn't really apply to computer games quite the same. Wink

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I actually played Penumbra on a proper computer a while back and just recently a friend suggested I write the review I did.

The metaphor is definitely deliberate to set up the rest of the article.
