While not short, the article is a bit edited and does not go into details on all events. Still it should give a pretty good overview of how Amnesia came about.

By me: I have to admit, I never knew Amnesia was leaked just before release date. Shame to the leaker...

That leaked reviewer copy didn't do much i believe.

BUT, whatever frictional is doing now everyday is a mystery, but my god KEEP doing horror games, don't change your title from *masters of terror and fear* to puzzle/shooter nonsense, improve the horror and fear that Amnesia brough on the world, the Amnesia abomination is just the core of absolute terror, just keep doing that, just keep on the horror games, you're great.. just the best.

For all that I love Amnesia and think it turned out a great and very excellent game, I could tell that there was very little time to polish, since the whole development cycle was on a razor's edge. I can only imagine how the game would have looked with 6 more months of AI tweaking, and story/map revision. Just even that much better.

Thinking about all that makes me even more excited for their next game, which should have the financial backing to let them really get everything just the way they want it.

Leaker's are so stupid.

Because puzzle games and shooters are nonsense. They've already said their next game isn't going to be a full-fledged horror game.

It was in a CAPTCHA, for some reason.

I wonder if the "Mario 64 Torture Porn"-game Thomas mentioned is what they're working on now. I'm very intrigued by that idea.

no way, in my opinion that sucks. If Amnesia was a Mario-like things I wouldn't even know it now. We'll see though...
