| turning off all antivirus systems didnt work either. If anyone has anything else it would be appreciated. |

| ok i moved all my amnesia save folders from my laptop to my desktop. i can play on those saves but when i do save and exit, the game will not overwrite any of my laptop saves. |

| sorry, I forgot to mention, I have no folder in documents called "Amnesia." I only have one in steam apps\common. I have no HPL.log file. |
