Did Amnesia have an update recently? Between now and the last time I attempted to run it, I've updated Steam, Adobe Flash, and upgraded to 10.9.1. I tried the game today and it launches, free of crash...

Steam seems to compile the game much differently when downloaded from their client. Everything is scattered around. Without knowing what makes that fix work, I'll have to wait for the official patch.

Sounds like a really cool fix. Unfortunately, having bought my game through Steam, everything is compiled differently and the instructions here won't work for me.
