Really great custom story! It was short but very sweet. The enviroments were really smartly and creatively detailed and good use of colors, point lights and spot lights in the lighting made the enviroments even more beautiful and gave really nice atmosphere. The voice acting was pretty good for me. The music and the sounds were especially well used and immerged me alot!

Really great work Cryout! I'm not sure if your team will continue to work with Amnesia or if you have plans to use another engine but I hope you continue making projects like this, good luck! Big Grin

I'll have to study it better to give a deeper judgment. At first glance it seems to me pretty.

Played it, and it was pretty good. Took about 20 minutes, but the atmosphere was the greatest part. Unfortunately my computer kept going down to 5-7 frames per second which really takes away from the game. It's like in a certain parts where you would walk it would dip way down, then you take another step and it's 60FPS.

RE: String

This is really great.
Not long, but great! Some misters and misses really put some work into it!

I recommend this because:

The level editting is great!
The scripting is great!
Gameplay itself is great!

Spoiler below!

What I most enjoyed in this was your use of monsters!
When the first monster appeared I'm not even sure if it was going to come after me or was just a scinematic. I just ran, and never encountered.

The second one, with Richard, the quiet "Hide" whisper was a great thing, as a hint. Great hint! I loved it!

Third monster "The water monster", you had it in there, and I just knew something was going to happen in that water, but you didn't use it as an actual monster which is awesome, because it wouldn't make sense to the story.

I'm not sure whether I got the story fully, because what happened at the end wasn't clear...

My understanding:
Henry killed Christina with his own hands.
Henry fled from the castle and blew the bridge.
Henry forgot all about it... So what's with the burning?

Great ending though! Very nice scripting

Trying is the first step to success.

Spoiler below!

Henry burned Christina, Philip put her ashes in a bag (which you see in paintings in the mod, and the end)

(Henry burned before he left btw)

She got to be alive again by rituals performed by Philip, in that very bag.
The evil and good side of Christina, this is why you will get hints throughout the game, she wants to help you but the evil wishes to supress it.

Thanks for playing.

/I will ask the writer if I'm not wrong, I do belive this was the intention.
