You need to login to your account already for installation.
Otherwise you are no longer able to install the game.
You payed full price for it and can't play it because third party servers/ account problems.

I do not buy my games just for playing, I wanted to own them for my collection.
I love all my games! It's not just for playing.
Perhaps I want to play all my games 20 years later with my children. And for sure, no activation server does exist for a very long time.
No matter whether I'm able to go in offline mode. The fact is that I need online connection for installation and this will make my games worthless in my opinion.
So I have to choose an other way to get games working.
