@BeeKayK: Very nice choices. I'm not sure about the keyboard but if you think it's good then why not. Also, you could have gotten the latest Haswell cpu & 1150 motherboard if the price was not higher in order to be more updated as you said but to be honest it wouldn't really make any difference. Just keep in mind that there are some things that you normally buy once and keep for many years. These are monitor,case and soundcard. So, when it comes to them, pay extra attention on what you buy. You will keep it for the years to come so make sure you like it first!

@Tiger: I think you should spend a little less at the motherboard and get the UD3H Wifi instead of the UD5H Wifi (click for comparison). Basically the UD5H has 2 LAN ports and better onboard audio. Everything else is the same. If you don't need Wifi then see the bare UD3H and UD5H which cost less because of that. That way, you can get a better graphics card like a 660Ti for example. Btw, so many fans may not be needed. Will you keep the stock intel cooler?
