Update on the X-series bug?

yes I have a x1600 and have the same problems. I upgraded my drivers to catalyst 10.2 and thats when i read about disabling imagetrail. Before I would just get a slideshow of the intro and delayed audio (not flowing with the subtitles) Once I disabled imagetrail I could play the game pretty smoothly except for any submenu would freeze it. (esc, Inventory etc..)\
I hope a fix comes soon. I preordered it before the demo was released expecting it would run on my cpu based up the min req posted on steam.
