Tinderbox challange

At my first playthrough I had 34 tinderboxes and 5 oil bottles left in my inventory, because in survival games I use my given resources very thrifty, so it would be easier for me to complete the game without using any of them.
Btw, this game really needs some achievements. They would increase my personal rating of the game from 100 to 110%.

I had 80 something tinderboxes.

Are there so many tinderboxes in the game?
I think I even did not pick up this many tinderboxes.
