Reason for locking showcase?

Just using White Night as an example:
28 000 thread views compared to 75 000 MODDB views. The more you use MODDB, the more active the Amnesia mod section is and the more visitors there will be. You can create very nice presentations of the project, the progress and the final release (just look at White Night).

I'm sorry to praise White Night so much, but also linked to the attention that the TC has received is because there has been articles, interviews and previews of it. Which shows the importance of letting people know about what you are creating goes far beyond posting a single thread in an obscure forum run by a small unknown game developer
