Geany Problem

Hiya!

Today I downloaded Geany because I want to try something else than Notepad++. But i noticed a HUGE problem,I cannot type Ctrl-Alt Letters like @£$€{[]}. And you probably know that without Brackets {} I won't be able too do anything at all...Well, I can of course copy the brackets and paste them but that feels like a huge time of waste for me.

Please help me, i really want to try Geany because it's much "Sexier" than Notepad++ lol : P
