Question  2 Different lanterns in the same Custom Story?

Like the title said, Is it possible to have 2 different lanterns/flashlights in one same Custom Story? By this I mean different models, sounds and properties. I am planning on making something like having the old usual Lantern in the beginning and then finding a newer one or a flashlight to use further on in the Story.
