The game crashes

The game Penumbra crashes as soon as I click on the .exe file. I even downloaded the Penumbra_Update_1.1 patch, but it had no effect.

The installation was successful, but a problem is shown in the hpl log file.

Possibly because of this error the game crashes, kindly suggest a solution.
