New Lantern

Hey guys, i just wanted to ask a few things and would love if someone could clarify these:

Is it possible to connect light sources to a model that i insert into the model editor? Because i'm trying to get the AMFP Lantern working in TDD and everytime i copy over the files it does give me the lantern, but the lights do not interact with the game physics (they are not attached to the lantern).
