Although what gets me is there's plenty of ammo but no firearms.

The place was a war bunker, but when the war ended I'm guessing it was emptied on ammo. Why so many crates are empty though makes no sense to me. I don't remember hearing anything about war on Greenland, but I haven't exactly looked it up.

There wasn't a war just an air base. In case the germans did invade.
