Weird script bug

Last time I played Black Plague, I got this weird bug. Remember the box that´s supposed to lie on the ground untill you turn a valve, and then fall down when you pull a lever?

Well, this time the box started out at the ceiling and turning the valve caused it to lower itself (pulling the lever caused it to go back up to the ceiling). Needless to say I couldn´t solve that "puzzle". Reloading to a save before entering that level and then reentering solved the problem though.
