Do you have DPI scaling active?
You could try playing the game using Borderless DisplayMode instead of Fullscreen mode

weirdly windows 10 was setting the DPI scaling automatically to 150% when i opened the game, so when i tabbed out and changed it manually that seems to have fixed it, thanks very much!
