I think it is a driver issue, Black Plague has more advanced hardware support than Overture, so that is why it can work in one game but not the other. Hard to give any more specific advice, but try to uninstall and reinstall new drivers and then try different audio settings using the system and/or control panel for the audio card.

Well it's Auzuntech Forte, it uses the creative xfi chipset - anyone here have any troubles with it?
