Demo crashes upon starting *PARTLY SOLVED*

I Have done as suggested but still no go.
Its a new series card (HD5870) so i dont believe it falls into the category of the x series ati cards?

Really want to have a go at this game, and buy the full release on pre-order but wont do so until im able to play it. All my drivers are up to date, bios, windows updates, direct x are all newest releases

Maybe i should try an older driver perhaps? Is there any more info i can give you to help me??

EDIT: Have just confirmed a member of another forum has played it with 10.8 drivers and the same video card so problem must be specific to my computer =(
