I like the screens, they look very atmospheric. Not sure why the potbelly wood burner is being ducted into the bookshelf, but it looks interesting. When you start your story, remember that the main character doesn't necessarily have to have amnesia. I think some writers are making too much hard work for themselves by starting their story at this point. There's nothing wrong with providing a rich backstory and a character who actually has some idea of what's going on.
