What do you think is the #1 monster in the Frictional Games Penumbra & Amnesia?

[The Rock Worm]

I just replayed Amnesia, and it further solidified my hatred of the Brutes. The sounds they make are horrifying. Plus, the part in the sewer? No thanks. Nightmares, nightmares forever.

The Rock Worm is my least favorite Penumbra monster though.

The thought just came to me, but is the Water Horror an undead or not? We don't really get enough to explain what it is.

Well, it's a creature given to Alexander by Weyer, so I doubt that it's "undead", but that's just my thought!

The Rock Worm would probably give those Brutes nightmares (I'd love to see them running and screaming for a change).

I've played Amnesia, but hadn't remembered the bit about Weyer. My personal thought to its appearance (based on both the Grunt and Brute being humanoid) is that the Water Horror is a mermaid (humanoid top, but with deep sea fish qualities and tail. Just deep sea Anglerfish can have a freaky face).
