In the middle... yeah, I have a perfect place where I could put it :D
A note: This custom story is going to be long, VERY long. I'm going to make 2 downloads:
-A download where you can make ALL the story from a single playthrough
-A download for chapter 1 and another one for chapter 2
In the case of divided chapters, where should I put the easter egg, in chapter 1 or 2? (It's like a half-and-a-half)

Probably in the first half so it doesn't seem silly and out-of-place if you release the two at separate times (or the player doesn't play ch. 2 immediately after ch.1). But it's entirely up to you, that's just my thoughts/preferences :)

Sorry for the late reply, I've been a bit scattered lately! Have you tried the VAA for voice-actors? It might take them a little while to send in auditions, there are a lot more voice-actors there than here (a kind mug gave me the link to that forum, so thank him if it helps!).
