It is quite likely like this: All us developers, testers and reviewers play a lot of games so we have at some point installed software with the needed .dlls into the system folder. So we have not noticed that we with the game include an old dll 71 instead of the needed dll 100..

Exactly, that makes tons of sense. These two are the most common. I've seen some other missing DLL's around. Some for directx input or similar.

The SDL.dll one is because people try to run the test .exe from the desktop. Btw, I saw that you added the latest SDL library this time, great! Problem removed from troubleshooting guide.
