I liked the mapping thougha nd such. And the story has me wanting to know more...

The second map was killing my computer though (i have a weeeeak computer dont worry about that)

What about the third map, with the staircase? It was suggested that I... "optimize". First off, I have no idea what that means, second, the only way I could think to fix it is to rebuild the staircase. I have no idea what's wrong with it, but it's only laggy when you first step into the map. On the very basement floor it's fine (for me at least) and on the very top floor it's fine (again, for me at least).

Rebuilding the entire staircase, would set me back about a week, and it's not like I'm opposed to doing it, but seriously. What the hell is in my staircase... LOL

its not the staircase its all the entities that its trying to keep track of. And that's the map I was talking about.

At the top floor its keeping track of the top and middle floor entities (they are within range i guess)
At middle its keeping track of top bottom and middle.
At bottom its bottom and middle.

Upon entering all the entities settle.

I suppose I'll have to run through and just get rid of some red herrings, lock some doors get rid of some rooms. See if that makes a change. If I can make the lag lessen, then it's for the best, haha. Again, thanks for testing. I'll bug you about an upgrade/patch once I've gone through what issues I have with everything now.
