If anything, he equates the blind belief that science will find all answers and fix anything (even halter death) to the blind belief that a religious intervention or the use of supernatural means can halter death or extend life, he's leveled in his "claims" and don't sway one way or the other. He's basically just bringing the question up, nothing in his talk is absolute, except perhaps what he said at the end, which also is a way to comfort yourself about death.

I like it, I particularly like what he said about legacy.
