Well you are essentially screwed until FG decides to fix their mess, or someone comes up with a homemade fix. The fact of the matter is the Windows version works properly, and the Mac version doesn't.

Because you're acting like the Mac is something, but a PC, and that's simply not true.

I have, but I think it's pretty stupid. I am going to be buying a PS3 for the sake of Persona 5, and KH soon myself. Technically speaking a Mac is part of the PC Master Race (if you buy into that crap).

I don't like to be a smartass and point out these small details. I know very well a Mac is technically a PC, but mostly everyone separate them; Mac vs PC for example. I simply do it because I expect that people know the common sayings. This time I wasn't even talking about Macs though, just the phrase where it's said. "PC master race" is just the elitist $3000 custom built PC gamers who think everyone else are scrubs, including console AND Mac users.

I think it's really shitty what FG has done (or to be more specific hasn't done) to it's Mac audience, but what good does bitching about it do? Sure you have some makeshift fix in the works, but it's not going to compare to what an official patch would do, or so I doubt it.

All I'm saying is that having to buy and install Windows (in addition to the computer itself if you don't run Boot Camp) as well as buying the game again FOR Windows is not a solution to the problem this game runs into on Mac. To be more specific, this issue only seems to happen to the Mac App Store release, so Steam might work. There are issues altogether with both Amnesias on Mavericks though, but that's a different problem. Either way, I do agree it's bad FG has not fixed this yet. If they are unable too, they can't just keep selling the broken game.
