Modeling/Art non-related to Amnesia / SOMA

For my 400th post, I thought I'd post some of my art. My scanner isn't compatible with my computer, so these photos don't exactly bring out all the details I'd like (two of which would be too large for a scanner anyway...). They're all hand drawn, ranging in time from when I began to draw again two years ago, to about a month ago.

Further practice with colored pencil, more burnishing/layered effects. This is actually the dude in my avatar. Details don't show as much as I'd like.

This was done quickly, and wish I could have added more detail. This is oil pastel and charcoal, and a teensy bit of colored pencil. This piece is actually 18x24.


Inspired by my snake. Love me some oil pastels n' turpentine. Also 18x24.

The last two have no references, since I'm practicing putting a mental image into a paper one. I'm taking more classes, so hopefully I'll continue to improve.
