I suddenly started having launch problems with SOMA as well. It was working fine yesterday on my 3.4GHz 27 inch late 2012 iMac with 16GB RAM and 2GB GTX680MX & Mavericks 10.9.5. But today it's immediatly closing and the only clue i have is..

9/23/15 2:34:14.576 PM com.apple.launchd.peruser.502[166]: (com.frictionalgames.SOMA-steam.146640[49896]) Job appears to have crashed: Segmentation fault: 11

In console.

I tried verifying the game files with Steam before even coming here. It said they where all validated and didn't make a difference.
