im having the same issue and so are many other people. As far as i know the only solution to this is to play the game at the default resolution.

The game even dont like to start in the default resolution...
Just a restart of my pc with an an kill of the amnesia folder worked now for me...
I am able to play a bit, without the best graphic settings.... but it work... as far i see.

But could you please fix the problem ? It cant be that i need to restart my pc everytime the game dislike to start...
