Solved: 8 Years, 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago Steam bought Amnesia problems.

Hi, I just bought the game from Steam after watching the Zeropunctuation review.

Originally the game crashed on start up, so I installed the patch and now it's asking me for a product key!
As far as I'm aware, I've never been given a product key to go with any of my Steam games and this is really irritating me.
I want to play this game badly and support indie game developers, but they always seem to be bugging out on me.
How do I get my/a product key for the game to run it when I was never given one from steam?
