Thanks, I probably won't make a grunt because I won't be able to animate it properly ('cause I'm really bad at animating). Also, this project is on a tiny hold because of job related reasons. I will pick this up eventually though.

I'm really not sure whether to say anything about it or not, I can't figure out whether I like it or hate it, or whether the designs are stylized or just winging it lol.

So I guess I'll just +1 for don't be scared to use more tris?

Sel: The thing is that the map is going to include a lot of unique models, and increasing the polycount may introduce performance issues. I'm already getting a few "slow spots" on the map due to the amount of unique models in the room.

I'm by no means an expert on how Amnesia handles models, but I can't imagine using a few more tris to make rounded objects look less blocky, most notably that table, is going to cause any massive performance hits.

You don't seem to be making any use of normal maps (that I can see) either, so that should more than offset the added performance cost of 50 more triangles or something.

I have many models made in 3DS Max, can I easily export them to .dae files?
I have so many stuff, that I made for school that I could easily bring into Amnesia!

I don't know how to export objects from 3DS Max but I imagine it wouldn't be a problem, I use Blender3D and I have no problems exporting .dae files, just make sure the model is converted to tris before exporting.

Now when talking about custom models... Can anyone tell me where to find some good ones? and how to use them? Or perhaps just give me a link to somewhere there might be a guide or something.
