RE: Creating .fnt files

so if i add a font (e. g. example.ttf) should all the sample characters turn in that font? Beacause always when I choose the font, the characters remain the same as in the beginning.

RE: Creating .fnt files

Testing the tool on journal fonts.

Color:
Can fonts be exported as e.g. 80% grey instead of white? White fonts are not right for the game as the background is almost black.

Size:
No matter what size I set in the BMF program, I end up with 32-pixel fonts in-game. I leave the percentage at 100%. Any hints?

It's just a text file; any plain-text editor would do.

RE: Creating .fnt files

I have a problem.
When I choose a font with file extension .fnt(amnesia menu.fnt) I get an error message says "Error loading the font, it's probably not a windows font".
How could I fix this?

You should probably make a new thread for this or go back to the one you already have, seeing as this one is quite old and people have moved on. Either way, what do you mean choose? Do you mean you edit your config files to your custom fonts? What exactly happens?

Details, bro. They're good.

I choose menu.fnt from the root fonts foldier of Amnesia and I get an error message says "Failed to add font file:*the location of the fnt* The file is probably not a windows font file"

What did you try to load it with? The font loader? .fnt is not a font file. It's merely a config file for the .dds texture used to simulate a font. Real fonts are .ttf format.
