Penumbra Gold Doesn't Work Amnesia Does?

So, I got Amnesia a while back, and had the black screen of death for a while.

I followed all instructions to download and update the driver manually, and viola! it works just fine.
When I got Penumbra, I figured that it would work seeing as I got the updated driver. I was terrible wrong.
When I opened it, I could see the menu just fine, but when it came to the actual game, all I could see was a white screen of death with the text.

I browsed a few forums, the only thing I've tried so far was tinkering with the shader quality. Nothing worked.
So please, if you would, point me in the right direction!

I'm using a:
Toshiba laptop
64 bit
Windows 7
With Intel HD integrated graphics
