Tenebris Lake Full Conversion

it happens when i hit start a new game, the screen with the sun like looking thing and the white loading... text under it, after that it crashes and black boxes. that's when i run the exe, i still crash with the .bat but i don't remember what error i get so i will try it now and printscreen the error box.

Go to Documents/Amnesia/Tenebris_Lake and open the hpl.log in Notepad. Paste what's in there in here.

Hmm. Maybe try posting the HPL.log file the FC generates?

Go to /Users/USERNAME/Documents/Amnesia/[Full Conversion]

[Full Conversion] is the name of the FC you're trying to play. No, not the "Main" folder.

here is the stuff inside hpl.log which was inside the tenebris lake inside documents.
edit: i attached it to this post as it's alot of text. it looks like it may be a graphics card error but that would be weird because i can play amnesia fine with no lag whatsoever. please let me know if you need anything else or can find what's wrong.

It might actually be a graphics card error.

On my old PC, with my VERY low-end ATI X600, I couldn't play Tenebris Lake. I didn't and still don't know why it doesn't work, but it seems Tenebris Lake doesn't really like very low-end graphics cards, such as my old one, or your current Intel HD.

This is all interpretation, so I don't know if any of it is true or not.

yeah i thought that could be it but it's weird cuz amnesia runs perfect and has never lagged even the slightest.

I'm making a full conversion myself, and I can confirm the fact that FCs have a tendency to crash when not played on high settings. If it's not already at that, crank it up there, and see if it works.

alright, i usually play on lowest settings just because low features look fine to me. honestly haven't even tried high settings on amnesia at all, but ill give it a shot now on tenebris lake.

edit: wow, that's crazy it worked when i changed from low to high Smile

That is a really strange issue... I'll be sure to keep that in mind from now on O_o
