window mode amnesia lags in some places

i have radeon 6950 2gb in crossfire but i am playing in windowed mode i notice sometimes i get a stutter and sometimes it runs really good ive looked at fraps and im getting a constant 60fps ive seen people on youtube with a 6950 2gb crossfire not get lag is this because there recording and not getting 60fps

i noticed this happened in the mod in lost the lights in the part with the water monster and book shelf this caused terrible stutter
