Wall Entity

I'm trying to make a wall entity. I already followed the model tutorial for making a static object into an entity by giving it a body. I'm not sure if I did it wrong or if I saved it in the wrong place. Can anyone help me with this?

Not enough information to understand what your issue is.

Hitting "File > Save as..." should save the file as a .ent.

RE: Wall Entity

Sorry, my problem is I can't find it when going through entities. What would be the best place to save it to make sure its working?

RE: Wall Entity

I find it's usually best to create a new folder in the "entities" folder, and call it something like CustomEntities.

RE: Wall Entity

Do you actually have the .ent and .dae in the new entity folder?

I need the .dae too? Am I supposed to save it as the original .dae, or the edited one that I also save as the .ent?

If you're converting an original Amnesia wall, then you won't need to copy over the original DAE file. Also, check to see if you have any of your files somewhere in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore.

I have the original Amnesia, not the steam one.</username>

</username>
Still can't find my converted wall. Will the "Custom Entities" still show up on the list even if the wall isn't working? Because I can't find it on the list of entities.</username>

Edit: I think I did something wrong in making the wall. I tried saving it in my custom story in a folder "obstacles" (so it would show up under obstacles, seeing as that is how I got my edited monster to work in the "enemy" folder) and it still won't show up.

RE: Wall Entity

Sorry to bump this, but I've still had no help. I'm trying to make a wall entity from the castle default wall. I don't know if I made it wrong in the model editor or if there's another problem, but I gave it a body, did something with mesh, and saved it as .ent. Can anybody help?
